Role Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will bridge product requirements with technical feasibility by gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical documentation, and ensuring smooth delivery of platform features through close coordination with Product, Engineering, QA, and Architecture teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements for platform features including reels feed, uploads, publishing, profiles, creator dashboards, notifications, gamification, live streaming, moderation, and content workflows.
- Participate in technical discussions with developers, architects, infrastructure, and QA teams, providing a BA perspective on system architecture, integrations, platform scalability, feasibility, and dependencies.
- Validate feasibility, identify edge cases, and highlight platform-level dependencies impacting delivery.
- Create user stories, workflow diagrams, API specifications, process documentation, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare detailed BRDs, PRDs, sequence diagrams, and technical documentation to support development.
- Assist QA teams by ensuring test cases accurately reflect business logic, system behavior, and end-to-end workflows.
- Help manage the product backlog and assist in feature prioritization based on business value and technical complexity.
- Support prototyping initiatives, including Vibe coding or AI-driven prototypes, to validate concepts and refine requirements before development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or similar technical documentation role.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, mobile platforms, and system integrations.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
