As the IT Support Lead,you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of various IT systems within the organisation.
Roles and responsibilities
Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s network infrastructure. Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution. Ensure network security measures are in place, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Device Management: Procure, deploy, and configure hardware and software for end-user devices. Develop and implement device management policies and procedures. Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and track their lifecycle. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software-related issues.
Communication Systems Management: Manage and administer communication systems, such as email servers, VoIP, and video conferencing platforms. Ensure reliable and secure communication channels for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor system performance, address disruptions, and implement upgrades as needed.
Tools Management (Google Workspace and Odoo): Administer and support Google Workspace and Odoo platforms, ensuring smooth operation and user access. Customise and configure the platforms to meet business requirements. Train employees on effective usage of Google Workspace and Odoo tools.
Required Skills & Competence
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
5-10 years of experience in a relative field.
Strong knowledge of network management and device management principles.
Familiarity with communication systems like email servers, VoIP, and video conferencing.
Proficiency in managing and administering Google Workspace and Odoo.
Certifications in network management, device management, or related areas are advantageous.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and cybersecurity practices.
Adaptability to changing technologies and industry trends.
