Role Overview
As Manager Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations and maintenance of our company’s facilities across Pakistan. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our physical work environment to support the organisation’s goals and objectives. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, productive, and well-maintained work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- IT Support Function: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment and infrastructure.
- Office and Procurement Management: Oversee office operations, including space planning, procurement, inventory, and maintenance. Manage vendors for facility services like cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, and security.
- Travel and Transport Management: Oversee travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for employees and guests. Ensure compliance with travel policies and manage relationships with travel vendors.
- Occupational Health and Safety: Establish and maintain safety standards, conduct inspections, coordinate training programs, and develop emergency response plans for prompt and effective actions during emergencies.
- Security Management: Develop and implement security protocols, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and visitor management. Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Required Skills & Competence:
- Proven multi-facility management experience with IT, office management, travel, safety, and security focus.
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles, regulations, and security protocols, building systems, equipment, and maintenance.
- Strong customer focus/service orientation mindset.
- Proficient in applications used to manage facility management tasks.
- Familiarity with regulations, safety standards, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
- Experience in space planning, emergency response, and crisis management.
- Budgeting and financial management proficiency.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, CISSP) is a plus.
