Job Description:
Walee is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing data analytics models, addressing data-related technical issues, and creating dashboards to provide valuable business insights.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, technical problem-solving, and a passion for influencer profiling and analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop advanced data analytics models to extract meaningful insights from large-scale influencer marketing data.
- Analyse data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimising influencer marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers and data architects to address data-related technical challenges and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to deliver actionable business insights to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct influencer profiling and analysis to identify key influencers, evaluate their impact, and support influencer selection strategies.
- Utilise data-driven techniques to segment influencers based on various criteria, such as audience demographics, engagement rates, and content preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science, applying innovative methodologies to enhance our influencer marketing platform.
Skills and requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of 4+ years in a data science role, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
- Deep understanding of statistical modelling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisation tools.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and address data quality issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Passion for influencer marketing and a curiosity to explore new methodologies and approaches within the field.
