Role Summary
We are developing a non-custodial trading protocol with a focus on speed, precision, and protocol-native incentives. This role is ideal for a DeFi-native product manager who understands the mechanics of high-performance, leveraged trading and wants to own the UX, token, and system design from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain technical product specifications across smart contracts, frontend, and infra layers
- Map and own user flows for:
- Wallet-based login
- Leverage selection, PnL tracking, liquidation alerts
- Points earning, staking, and fee sharing dashboards
- Collaborate with engineers to scope:
- Points system logic
- Staking vaults
- Trade execution flows
- Funding rate design
- Plan product rollouts: testnet phases, reward campaigns, and governance onboarding
- Benchmark and analyze competitor features (dYdX, GMX, Aevo, Vertex, etc.)
Required Skills
- 2+ years experience in product management or protocol design
- Strong grasp of:
- Perpetuals trading logic
- Collateralization, margining, liquidation systems
- DeFi rewards mechanisms (points, emissions, staking)
- Experience working with Solidity engineers and understanding smart contract constraints
- Proficiency with Notion, Figma, Dune, and basic SQL
- Strong async communication, spec writing, and project ownership ability

- Led a product or feature in a live DeFi or trading app
- Tokenomics modeling (emissions, rebasing, fee structures)
- Familiarity with wallet UX friction, gas optimization, and chain-specific limitations
